Supplied as a ready-to-mix-intowater powder, patented* duro paint™ Stipple becomes one of the longest lasting paints ever invented.

It’s a clean air, polymer-modified, water-based, inorganic, mineral surface coating that delivers an exceptionally durable, UV resistant, matte, coloured finish with a slight, subtle, stippled texture. However, it is not available as a clear finish.

Applied with the same implements as normal paints, duro paint™ Stipple, previously known as the Paint, is available in a choice of standard colours, or for a project made available as a custom colour matched product in virtually any colour.

duro paint™ Stipple delivers outstanding wear resistant and very low slip/skid hazard performance, whilst improving both thermal and sound deadening, acoustic insulation properties.

Developed as the first of the three duro paint™ Long Life Paint Range having different finish effects with a focus on environmentally sustainable development (ESD), duro paint™ Stipple is easy and safe to use, has no unpleasant odour and is extremely low in VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds).

Use on:

Suitable for use on both vertical and horizontal surfaces, duro paint™ Stipple provides a protective and decorative coating for walls, floors, roofs, decks, steps, stairs, ramps and pavements, as well as for structures and items that will be permanently submerged in water chlorinated water, or seawater. Often used instead of ‘through’ coloured concrete onto plain grey unpigmented concrete to give it colour, duro paint™ Stipple can be applied to almost any type of stable, firm, sound and clean surface, including:

•	Concrete (including recently placed, high alkaline, high pH concrete)
•	Mortar (including existing wall rendering/plastering and floor/wall fairing mortars)
•	Asphalt and bitumen emulsion sprayed pavement surfaces
•	Fibre cement panels and planking
•	Masonry
•	Wood
•	Iron, steel primed with an all metal primer and a range of other suitably prepared metal surfaces.
•	Previously painted surfaces that have been suitably abraded and roughened.

Ability Building Chemicals Co. has developed duro paint™ for versatile, safe for the environment exterior / interior paints and protective surface coating products which are available in a range of decorative UV resistant colours and are ‘pedestal’ examples of ‘Clean Air’ technology.

These include duro paint™ STIPPLE, MATTE and LOW SHEEN paints.

These surface coatings contain NO SOLVENTS, LOW VOCS (volatile organic compounds), are easy to apply, have no odour, are extremely weather and traffic wear resistant and offer durability for decades.
